After your breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the Airport to board your flight for Colombo. On arrival get transferred and check in to the hotel in Bentota. In the evening take the charming boat trip on the river ‘Madhu Ganga’. This mesmerizing boat trip will take you to the thick and bushy mangroves and abundant the bird life, to reveal the primitive style of fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands. Kandy |
After your breakfast check out of the Bentota hotel and you will be transferred to the hotel in Kandy. Today explore and experience Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Peradeniya - Botanical Gardens was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. In the late afternoon do a city tour of the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings – The Kandy. The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied past, splendour, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for countless years. Do visit gem museum and a lapidary, the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Colombo |
After early breakfast proceeds for Colombo, en route visit Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, which is a home to about 60 abandoned or orphaned Elephants. One can also witness these elephants taking their daily bath in nearby river. After check in to the hotel in Colombo, you can proceed for city tour of Colombo covering old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), A Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple, Observing the Galle Face Green and visit Fort Bazaar. Shopping is never an end in Colombo - visit House of Fashions, Majestic City shopping complex, ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique, Noritake Ceramic Showroom, Barefoot Gallery and Lakmedura Handicraft Centre. Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo. |
